A Tennessee judge has issued a temporary restraining order against Bryan Seaver, nephew of late country music icon Dolly Parton, following allegations of threats against employees and associates of the company managing her estate.

CBS News reported that the order was granted Wednesday after She’s Alive, the entity overseeing Parton’s professional interests and business affairs, filed a complaint against Seaver and his private security company, Squadron Augmented Protection Services (SAPS).

The court order requires Seaver and SAPS to stay at least 1,000 feet away from She’s Alive employees, attorneys and business partners. They are also barred from contacting those individuals or interfering with the company’s business relationships.

According to court documents cited by CBS News, She’s Alive accused Seaver of sending a series of increasingly threatening messages in the weeks surrounding Parton’s death. The estate alleged that the situation became serious enough to require additional security for employees and contributed to the departure of some staff and a trusts and estates attorney.

Seaver previously headed Parton’s security detail and operated SAPS, which provided protection services for the singer. She’s Alive terminated its relationship with Seaver and the company last week, according to the court filings.

The estate further alleged that Seaver referred to his military and private-security background while making threats and claimed to have access to military-grade weapons. The allegations remain claims contained in the court filings and have not been established at trial.

CBS News reported that Seaver did not respond to requests for comment, while representatives of SAPS also did not provide a response. A hearing on the restraining order has been scheduled for October 7.
