A ransom payment of N10.3 million has led to a police investigation that resulted in the arrest of two suspected members of a kidnapping syndicate operating in Rivers State.
Channels Television reported that the victim, identified as Hassan, was abducted on September 7, 2026, around the Fidelity Bank area of Garrison, Port Harcourt. He was subsequently taken to Igbugulu Waterside in Borikiri, where he spent three days in captivity before his relatives secured his release after paying the ransom.
The case was taken up by the Rivers State Police Command’s Violent Crime Response Unit, whose investigation led to the arrest of two men allegedly connected to the abduction.
