The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, has urged Nigerians to re-elect President Bola Tinubu in 2027, arguing that the administration’s performance since assuming office in 2023 places him ahead of other presidential contenders.
According to Channels Television, Yilwatda made the appeal on Wednesday in Abuja during the inauguration of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, where he highlighted infrastructure and development projects undertaken under the Tinubu administration.
He listed investments in roads, railways, ports, gas projects, agricultural infrastructure and digital connectivity among the areas he said demonstrated the government’s achievements over the past three years.
The APC chairman also pointed to the party’s political structure, claiming it had more than 261,000 executives across its national, state and ward levels, alongside 31 governors and support from two other political figures in the South-West and South-East.
He described the party’s organisational strength as an advantage ahead of the 2027 elections, adding that the commitment of its members would be crucial to the campaign’s success.
