Candidates who sat for National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) examinations up to 2024 have been directed to collect their certificates from designated schools or state offices, depending on the examination session.
The board said candidates who participated in the May/June examinations should obtain their certificates from the schools where they registered and wrote the examinations, while those who sat for the November/December examinations should collect theirs from NABTEB offices in the states where they took the examinations.
The directive covers the National Business Certificate (NBC), National Technical Certificate (NTC), Advanced National Business Certificate (ANBC) and Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC) examinations.
In a notice released in Benin on Friday, NABTEB Registrar and Chief Executive, Aminu Mohammed, outlined the requirements candidates must meet before their certificates would be issued.
He said candidates seeking to collect November/December certificates must present their statement of result or NABTEB online printout containing their examination details.
Other requirements include a valid means of identification, such as the National Identification Number (NIN) or driver’s licence, a passport photograph with a red background and payment of an approved collection fee of ₦1,000, excluding applicable statutory online charges.
Mohammed warned that certificates would only be issued to genuine candidates who actually sat for the examinations.
The board said the collection arrangements were intended to ensure that certificates reached the appropriate candidates through the designated channels.
