Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has renewed calls for stronger international pressure on Russia, saying the continued missile and drone attacks across Ukraine require a more forceful global response.

According to a report by USA TODAY News, the appeal followed fresh Russian strikes that Ukrainian authorities said affected Kyiv, Sumy and other parts of the country, with civilian areas among those hit and casualties reported.

Residential and commercial buildings were also damaged in the latest attacks, underscoring the continuing impact of the conflict on civilian communities.

Zelenskyy argued that the international response has not done enough to deter Moscow, urging Ukraine’s allies to tighten sanctions and maintain support for Kyiv.

He warned that Russia should not be permitted to believe it can sustain its military campaign without facing serious consequences from the international community.
