Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has expressed gratitude to young men and women on social media for supporting his political journey and promoting the achievements of his administration.

Adeleke made this known in a post shared on his official X account on Tuesday, where he acknowledged the role played by his online supporters in shaping public conversations around his political career.

The governor said the supporters had backed his political journey from 2018 through 2022 and continued to do so to date.

According to him, the young men and women used social media platforms to drive conversations, challenge what he described as false narratives and showcase the achievements of his administration.

“You drove real conversations, challenged false narratives, and told the true story of our administration’s achievements,” he said.

Adeleke said the supporters’ contributions would remain significant even as others might claim credit for the victory.

“After this victory, many may claim the credit. But the digital imprint remains, and your impact lives forever,”  he said.

He urged the supporters to accept his appreciation, saying, “Take your flowers. You’ve earned them.”
