Forward Nigeria Vows Six-Zone Mobilisation For Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election

The National Movement for Tinubu–Shettima 2027, known as Forward Nigeria, has pledged to expand its political mobilisation across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones to secure victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket in the 2027 election.

The movement’s National Chairman, Prof. Rufa’i Ahmed Alkali, made the commitment in a goodwill statement issued on Saturday following the launch of the APC presidential campaign in Kaduna.

Alkali said the movement would intensify grassroots mobilisation and engagement with Nigerians as the party begins efforts to retain the presidency, expressing confidence in the Tinubu–Shettima ticket.

He described the campaign as an opportunity to communicate the administration’s policies and development priorities to voters, while urging supporters to sustain their commitment to the president’s political project.

The group identified policy continuity, purposeful leadership and inclusive governance as key considerations in its support for President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima ahead of the 2027 poll.

According to the movement, Nigeria’s development requires sustained implementation of policies, difficult but necessary decisions and collective efforts to improve citizens’ welfare.

It argued that progress should be reflected in improved security, broader economic opportunities and greater prosperity for Nigerians.

Forward Nigeria said its mobilisation strategy would extend across the six geopolitical zones, with a focus on strengthening support for the APC ticket and engaging political stakeholders in the run-up to the election.

The group also called for issue-based campaigns, peaceful political participation and responsible conduct by parties and their supporters, stressing the importance of protecting national unity during the electioneering period.

Alkali congratulated Tinubu on the Kaduna campaign launch and expressed hope that the exercise would provide a platform for dialogue on Nigeria’s challenges and development objectives.

He also extended goodwill to Shettima, the APC leadership and the presidential campaign organisation as political activities gather momentum.

The movement reiterated its commitment to the Tinubu–Shettima project, declaring that it would work towards the ticket’s victory while encouraging public confidence in the country’s democratic process.

It ended its statement with the rallying calls, “Forward Nigeria!” and “Forward with Renewed Hope!”
