Severe flooding has left communities along the Nepal–Tibet border submerged, with homes, roads and other properties swallowed by rapidly rising waters.

Dramatic footage shows stranded residents taking refuge on rooftops and balconies as floodwaters cut off access routes and leave several communities isolated.

According to AFP, at least 469 people have died, while hundreds remain missing as rescue teams race against time to find survivors and evacuate people trapped by the floods.

The scale of the disaster has triggered intensified rescue operations across affected areas, with authorities working to reach communities hit hardest by the rising waters.
