Ibom Air has reached a significant passenger milestone, welcoming its 5 millionth passenger on September 25, 2026, during its 65,787th scheduled commercial flight since inception.

The milestone comes just over seven years after the Akwa Ibom-owned airline commenced commercial operations in June 2019.

According to Ibom Air, the achievement reflects the loyalty of its passengers, the dedication of its employees and the support of its partners and stakeholders.

The airline says it remains focused on strengthening connectivity through schedule reliability, on-time departures and customer service.

The five-million-passenger milestone marks another significant point in the airline’s growth and expansion.
